What's New For December

What's New For December

So, as predicted with the immanent general election and Christmas rapidly approaching, the housing market has been slightly temperamental.  Our lettings department has been reporting a slight upturn, with more instructions coming to the market.  Demand for rental properties is still healthy, so we are seeing the new properties let quickly.  The residential sales market has been cautious, but the first and second time buyers market is still active.

As a company we have been flat out.  We were at the national Negotiator Awards which was held on the 29th November at the Grosvenor Hotel Park Lane for the Community Champion.  unfortunately, our efforts were not worthy of the top three but we were recognised as highly recommended.  But that does not detract us from our community efforts.  This week after asking all the schools to help us with hat, scarves and gloves donations, we will be distributing to the homeless these items plus blankets and other sundry items. Not only will these be distributed in Crawley, Horley and East Grinstead, but we have been approached by other charities in Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings.

Our Christmas Dinner & Wishing Tree Appeals are in full swing, we predicted this year we would deliver to 500 families and make 1000 Children's wishes come true.  Within the first week of December we have already had 300 families nominated by local schools, council bodies and other charities.

What's In A Mince Pie?

We are pleased to say that local developers Whitehall Homes LLP have agreed to sponsor the mince pies for our Christmas Dinner Appeal.  This may not sound like much but when we are purchasing 600 boxes, it is a big step.

Helping The Wasps

We are pleased to announce that Greenaway Residential are sponsoring the East Grinstead Wasps Under 16's team this season.  For us this was a great fit for our company and the team.  Previously known as the Maidenbower Panthers, the team have had to change clubs as there was no next level for them to compete in.  With offices in Crawley and East Grinstead it was an easy decision for us to make and we are proud to be connected with this team.

Greenaway Foundation Christmas

As we gather momentum with our Christmas Dinners & Wishing Tree Appeals, we thought you might like to see our latest video which contains most of last Christmas' efforts.

Blankets For The Homeless

One small positive from the collapse of Thomas Cook, as the Greenaway Foundation receive and distribute blankets no longer needed by the travel company amongst the homeless in East and West Sussex
